Needs a Buli subscription or a trial, and you must be 18 or older.

How to connect

Claude

Start in the Buli app

  1. Open Buli settings

Settings → Privacy → AI assistants. Tap Connect next to Claude.

  2. Add Buli to Claude

Claude opens with Buli filled in. Keep Sign in now and Use Claude’s published identity. Add the connector, then select Connect.

  3. Choose what to share

Sign in with your Buli account. Choose what to share and how far back, then approve.

  4. Start a conversation

Enable Buli in Claude’s conversation tools and ask about your training.

Connect without the Buli app

In Claude’s connector settings, add a custom connector named Buli using this address. Then continue from step 2.

ChatGPT

Start in your browser

  1. Open ChatGPT Plugins

Open Plugins in a desktop browser. Select + → Add custom MCP server.

    Open ChatGPT Plugins
  2. Add Buli’s address

Name: Buli. Server URL: the address below. Authentication: OAuth. Leave Client ID and Client secret empty.

    https://mcp.bulifitness.fi/mcp

If ChatGPT asks how to register, choose Dynamic client registration (DCR).

  3. Install the plugin

Accept the warning and select Create as a plugin. Open Buli under Personal and press + to install it.

  4. Connect your Buli account

Select Connect. Sign in to Buli, choose what to share and approve the connection.

  5. Ask about your training

Start a new Work chat. Type @, choose Buli and ask about the weights for your next workout.

Set this up once in a browser. Afterwards, use Buli in the ChatGPT app with the same ChatGPT account.

Check that it works

If the answer has the exercises and weights from your last workout, the connection works.

Using Buli, how did my last workout go?

What you can ask

The assistant gets its answers from Buli, so the numbers are yours. Copy a question and try it.

  • I’d like to focus a little more on my biceps. Update my program for that.
  • How did my week go against my program?
  • What weights does Buli suggest for my next workout?
  • Which lifts are progressing and which are stuck?
  • Set a 100 kg bench press goal for me.
  • Suggest a lighter week for me next week.

Suggestions wait in Buli until you approve them.

I’d like to focus a little more on my biceps. Update my program for that.

Your changes are ready in Buli!

Set a 100 kg bench press goal.

Done. Bench press 100 kg is now one of your goals.

Best lift: 87.5 kg

Goal: 100 kg

You can undo this in Buli.

Suggest a lighter week for next week.

I suggested a lighter week for next week.

Fewer sets and lighter weights. After that, your program carries on as before.

The suggestion waits in Buli for your approval.

What the assistant sees

When you connect, you choose what to share and how far back. The assistant sees only that.

Program
Training days, exercises, sets, reps, rest, training equipment, weekly target, and lighter weeks and pauses.
History
Workouts in the period you choose: exercises, sets, reps, weights, cardio distance and pace, records, and the weights Buli suggested.
Goals
Exercise, target, progress, dates and goal changes.

Never

Body measurements, body weight, age, gender, notes, moods, heart rate, calories, email, name or other people’s data.

The assistant also sees your time zone, so dates match your day.

Changes only with your permission

Separately
Reading and changes are allowed separately. You can share data only.
Goals
The assistant first says exactly what it will change and asks for a yes. Every change can be undone in Buli.
Program
The assistant can suggest program changes, a lighter week, a pause, your own exercises or a saved workout. A suggestion changes nothing until you apply it in Buli.
Weights
Buli works out your weights itself from your history. The assistant is instructed to quote Buli’s numbers, not to invent increases of its own.

Who processes the data

Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI (ChatGPT) decide on their own how they use what their assistants receive, under their own terms, and may process it outside the EU, such as in the United States. It becomes part of your conversation there. The assistant’s access keys carry identifiers of your Buli account and the connection, not your name or email.

Read the privacy notice

Sign in only on Buli’s page

Connecting always happens in your browser, on Buli’s page at mcp.bulifitness.fi. Never type a password, sign-in code or key into the chat. Buli never asks for them there.

Disconnect

In the Buli app, open Settings, Privacy, AI assistants. Or open Manage connections and sign in.

Manage connections

Disconnecting stops new sharing and removes Buli’s shared copy. It cannot remove what the assistant already received: delete that in the assistant itself. Access ends after 30 days anyway, and you can connect again.

If something does not work

Before you start

  • A Buli account with a subscription or an active trial.
  • You are 18 or older.
  • Claude in a browser or its desktop or phone app, or ChatGPT, which you set up once in a browser.

Connecting an assistant requires a Buli subscription or an active trial

Start a trial or a subscription in the Buli app, then connect again.

“Your Buli profile says you are younger.”

Assistants can be connected from age 18. If the age in your profile is wrong, write to us.

“Sign-in did not work.”

Try again in the same browser, with the same Buli account you use in the app.

The assistant can no longer reach Buli

Access lasts 30 days. Connect again in Claude’s connector settings, and check that Buli is turned on in the conversation’s tools.

I cannot add a connector on my phone

In the Buli app, tap Connect next to Claude: Claude opens with Buli filled in. Set up ChatGPT once in a browser; after that, Buli works in the ChatGPT app too.

I cannot find the option in ChatGPT

If Buli is already under Installed or Personal, open it and select Connect. If Add custom MCP server is missing, try a computer browser. Your workspace administrator may restrict custom plugins.

For anything else, write to support@bulifitness.fi.
